The visual are very unique of this story of Maggie who is full of rage, hatred, and revenge. The shadow thing seems to be a like an inner voice trying to get Maggie to control their anger. The way they spoke brought light to how their world works. The cause of Maggie negative emotion.

Amazing visuals it definitely helped push along the story and made it more understandable. The background and lore were really interesting, I wanna know more. There was an issue I noticed where the text on the choices were going out of the button which made it a little hard to read.  The audio was a good contributing factor as well, made it feel real. great game had fun playing it!

A very powerful, emotional, and relatable narrative. I was really drawn in by the world as it developed more and more through the characters talking with eachother. Aesthetically very ambitious but it turned out wonderfully, I enjoy the neon/beautiful but also dark and shadowy aspects of the antagonistic character. I ran into some issues near the end where I couldn't exactly tell who was saying what - it had the voice of one character but the text box color of another - but otherwise absolutely no complaints. Very wonderful job yall

Wow, very ambitious and impressive work! Sound and visuals were well-crafted and worked so well with the narrative. The story had a great opening and kept me engaged throughout. It had a great voice and I really felt for the character's internal struggle to feel like they were somehow contributing to the world in a positive way.  It ended rather abruptly for me and I think it would feel good to be allowed to linger on the train a little while to let it soak in.  I struggled with the font choice because it often felt cramped and out of place with the hand drawn aesthetics. Also, one thing you probably didn't catch is that the black box to fade in is too short to completely fill a 16:10 display. Excellent job Barbara and Toby!

The art for this game is 100000/10. The narrative is extremely solid and engaging.  The sound effects definitely made the game seem more professional in my opinion, as well as all the other animations/effects. The dialogue was very well written.

The visuals in this are great especially with the turnaround yall had and the actual narrative itself I found pretty relatable. I would have liked to know more about the connection between this fighter and the spirit but I found it to be a pretty clever narrative tool. On top of a different font, I do think that yall should have committed to either solely keyboard or mouse input though since it feels clunky to be swapping all the time

I really appreciate the aesthetics of this game and the sfx! The dialogue was very interesting and I enjoyed the world building getting revealed through a conversation with yourself. The font choice was slightly difficult to read, but I appreciate the choice- Maybe making the text box slightly darker could help with visibility. Again the visuals were amazing- Nice game:D

Really awesome aesthetic, we're out here doomposting irl but the character to internal self interaction worked well, I thought the part about interrupting was a funny way to casually add context about who the character was talking about. Would love to see this expanded upon, since the worldbuilding is so nice. A cool short experience!

The visuals were good, I liked the atmosphere created by the coloring and pixelated style. The animation of the shadow dude coming in was a good touch, and I liked Maggie's talking and moving eyes.

I'm really interested to hear more details of the world this takes place in, as the information I get during Maggie and the shadow thing's conversation seem to hint at this futuristic/techy, fleshed out world of corporate greed and people fighting as a means to survive. I relate to and empathize with Maggie's emotions, though I feel like they could've been communicated with slightly better pacing. My main issue is that there seems to be no real resolution for this story, as Maggie is still frustrated with herself and the shadow thing is still worried for her, there was just no character progression. The progression of the story was more just learning about the world Maggie lives in rather than Maggie's emotions changing and resolving. Though I assume there was some development there that was cut out for time's sake, and the rest of the world building helped remedy parts that were lacking.

loveeeee the visuals yall did such a great job, everything feels very well thought out and flows well together.  the font is a little difficult to read on those longer messages.

The art style and sound effects are perfect! I like this format of building a story based on dialogue; it reminds me of some traditional browser games. The font choice makes it slightly difficult for me to read, but overall, I like the colloquial form of the text!

Whoa!! First of all, the aesthetics of this game are incredible! I really loved the dialogue as well, it was really interesting to hear the two characters interact, and I enjoyed being able to control the conversation with the options. The game itself is really well done, and everything feels extremely well thought out. The production is amazing considering the limited amount of time we had!! Extremely impressive imo!
